LITTLE SISTER

Words cannot describe how I'm feeling right now. Anyone who has lost someone, someone special who means everything in the world, will understand. Two days ago, I lost my very best friend in the world. My precious sister, Tammy, who has been my hip attachment for the past 46 years, passed away unexpectedly. Many of you might remember that I've posted about her in the past. About a year ago, I was helping her study for the OKC police department's lieutenant's test, which she later passed with flying colors. I have so many other wonderful things I could say about her, but I will save that for another time. I just wanted to share with you, my crochet friends, the tragedy my family is experiencing right now, and I hope you will keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I also plead with you to pull your dear loved ones close to you, now and often, and let them know how much you love them. You never know when it might be your last opportunity to reach out.

Things are busy around here for a few days, as you might imagine, so I will probably not be back to my blog for awhile. I will provide more information in the days to come . . . . . .

  2. Every time I go home, to Indiana, I am eager to see my brother . . only living immediate family member. Since I have moved, we both realize just how much the other means to them.

My thoughts are so with you at this time . . . this is something I think about . . . what will happen when the last person who has loved me forever passes . . . makes my eyes tear up just thinking about it.

Now, find some music you both liked and listen and remember . . then smile as she is, most definitely, listening too.

  7. Hi Keri,

I too came from Pammy Sue's blog. I don't even know what to say. Everything I type I keep deleting. No words seem to be enough. I have a baby sister, eleven years younger, and I never had kids, so you can imagine what she means to me.
I'm so very sorry for your loss.
